DSInsight Showcase Goals and Assessment Management Solution at the International Big Event
DSInsight to showcase software framework designed to help people with learning disabilities to manage their goals and aspirations at In Control's Big Event, BT Convention Centre, Liverpool, 16th March 2010


ASHBURTON, ENGLAND, March 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Software specialists, DSCallards (www.dscallards.com), will be showcasing DSInsight at In Control's International Big Event, BT Convention Centre, Liverpool, on 16th March 2010. DSInsight is the first of its kind and is a software framework that has been designed to help people with learning disabilities to manage their goals and aspirations.

DSInsight is a set of applications that are easy to use and bring benefits to both the support workers and the learning disabled by improving the way information is collected, manipulated, accessed, viewed and distributed. Intelligent processing of this data also makes it easier to comply with increasing government regulations and care standards, such as Care Quality Commission (CQC).

DSInsight provides the following range of products:

SPARS - Support Planning and Recording System - has been fully operational in the field for over three years and is an intuitive application that records and manages information such as assessments and goals, person centred plans (PCPs) and diary events, needed to support learning disabled people.

ClearView is an add-on module to SPARS that provides a window for individuals to view their own goals, steps and achievements, which are recorded within SPARS.

SMS - Staff Management System - extends the concept of time management and rostering to deliver a comprehensive staff management application that includes contract administration, sickness, holidays, training, budgets and cost analysis information.

SCENE provides a safe and secure networking environment allowing people with learning disabilities to interact with friends and family.
